Despite he's only got 3 solo albums, I think they're quite great! all recorded with huge musicians of the size of Dominic Miller, Tim Renwick, Manu Katche, Sinead O' Connor... and so many others! under the exceptional, impecable production of James Guthrie, Anthony Moore and Rick himself

"Wet Dream", 1978

"Identity", 1984 (with Dave Harris)

"Broken China", 1996

Yes, Rick (along with Syd Barrett and Nick Mason) should be added to the archives.

Phew! Thank God! I was starting to believe that I was just a voice in the crowd!

You damn right man, Syd and Nick must have their well deserved spots in here as well! Their solo projects may now be as good and successful, but they still count!

I haven't come across "Identity", but agree entirely that the other two are fine pieces of prog rock. Was Rick perhaps the "George Harrison" of Pink Floyd?

Identity is awful (imo).  Don't bother tracking it down.

I agree with Useful, don't even bother tracking down "Identity", but if Rick is gonna be added up to the site, even that "piece of work" should be included within his discography

And according to what Easy Says... You're completely right about "Wet Dream" and "Broken China", they are fine crafted pieces of atmospheric, well achieved prog...

I don't think he was the "George Harrison" in Pink Floyd though, because Rick was more creative and innovating than George could ever be in The Beatles! Rick was the head in many projects of the band and the leadman when it came to song writing and arrangements... he's more than Harrison, and in his defense, he seems to be nicer than the mate from Liverpool  j/k (Rest In Peace George Harrison... wherever you are )

Regards,

Land
