I have a confession here. This is the first poll i've done where i included an album i don't own. I have In Praise Of Learning on order and hoped it would be in before this but no such luck. The fact it has no votes really makes me glad i bought it.Confused  Kidding aside i've heard so much about it and Dagmar's involvement makes it unique i'm sure from their other albums.  It does seem to be a love it or hate it recording for a lot of people though.

Neu! for me.  I really love that album.  I think Interface would take my second spot, but I like all of these.

Space Ritual has barely a scratch? One of the most mesmerizing live albums in music ! Wink
I never post anything anywhere without doing more than basic research, often in depth.

This is true.  Unfortunately for it, though, so is Kraan Live.  They were both right at the top for me in this poll.

Yeah those are two amazing live records right there. I'd have a hard time picking one over the other.  The live albums never seem to do well in these polls no matter how good they are.

Sometimes I feel like a Greg echo.... NEU! For me. Probably the best debut album ever made imho. I love the natural, simplistic almost naive expression of it. Feels like the musical equivalent to opening up a faucet.

You and Logan have put Neu! into third place although i think Greg actually forgot to vote. No worries of course, just sayin'.

Also like Greg, I really like Interface and remember when I read your review of it - thinking I needed to get it. Then again, most of your reviews do that to me.... Stop making me use money John!!!!!

I've voted now.  It's not that uncommon for me to just register my preference via post without voting as despite liking to post in polls, I'm not much of one for making sport out of music. ^ Hey guys !   Well your right Logan that the spirit of these polls is more about discussing music than who beats who, although it's always interesting to see what albums are more popular amongst us like-minded people.

Interface and Stand By really do it for me because of the prominant guitar.  Just think of all of the amazing music that you will enjoy well into your golden years. You will just need to turn your hearing aid way up along with the music and hope the other seniors in your retirement home are also hard of hearing.Embarrassed

I've thought about thatBig smile Whereas most retirement homes probably will have The Prodigy's Smack my BEEEP up cranked way up high, I am going to have all these convoluted, mad, schizophrenic albums playing all day long - hopefully to the delight of my keepersLOL
Nah, I don't think I'll ever wind up in such a place to be honest. With the a amount of 'me, me, me' incorporated into kids' thinking pattern today, I don't think they'll give a rats' ass about other people, when that time comes when they face that dilemma - least of all us old folksOuch

Ahem... What just happened there?LOL Sorry about the misanthropic outburst, but as you can probably guess, I've had a little run in with some of the parents at work. Seems as if they haven't learned anything from The Beatles' Can't buy me love - plus that love can appear as a strict no at times - even if the kid says 'I hate you!' for an hour afterwards... Alright I'll stop now, I promiseLOL

Hey about those electronic albums John. Have you ever heard anything from Zombi? Sounds like a combination of Heldon and Tangerine Dream with Neil Peart like precision drumming. Animal Warrior should fit your tastes well methinksThumbs Up

^^^ Sorry, I don't want to interrupt the flow of the discussion, but....  John, I am interested in who-voted-for-what, and I am interested in discerning patterns when it comes to voting behaviour.  I am interested in statistics, and trying in some lame-O layman's terms to take deep, or at least not really, really shallow, meaning out of it.  Discussion is what's great, but I'm actually too superficial to add anything actually substantial,  insightful, or even mildly entertaining..

Hey i'll check Zombi out David, thanks !
Well if i do get old (and it's a big if because all the guys on my dads side of the family have never made it to 60 years of age) i think i'll stay with my youngest daughter if she'll have me. We are so alike it's insane. My oldest daughter is great because she loves a lot of the same kind of music as meShocked but i know i'd be getting into trouble with her all of the time and besides her fiance is a drug squad officerLOL.  I would be afraid to live with my son because he would abuse me i'm sure either physically or mentally.LOL

Oh i'm glad your back Greg i was just going to tell you if i go off-line it's not for long this afternoon although i'm leaving for home in an hour.
I'm not quite sure if your asking me something here but i will dispute your comments that your too superficial to add anything substancial, insightful or entertaining. What ?!  I always look forward to reading your posts and have learned so much from you over the years, so i'm not quite sure what your getting at. Stern Smile Yes i just blinked.
