Anoah,
you are the first (not including myself) who mentioned Winter consort. I actualy grew on their music, mainly on their debut (self titled). Later I fell in love with Road and Icarus. I've been trying to mention them few times in the past and it seems nobody here knows them so I am very happy to meet another one who does. I fully agree with including them here. |
I also live Paul Winter Consort. My dad played it for me all the time when I was younger: both the albums you mentioned, Road and Icarus. Love them both, but I favor Icarus. Definitely good for the archives, with a little bit of world-influence, too.

It seems we share a "Dad problem"
My absolute favorite is "Fantasy fuge and the ghost beads" from Road. |
You're crazy. "General Pudson's Entrance" is by far the best on "Road"

. Top favorites on "Icarus" are "Sunwheel," "Juniper Bear," and of course "Icarus."
