So whats wrong with Yngwie and Symphony X???

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with either of them (there is, but I listen to both anyway). What I'm saying is the numerous bands who've followed them, copied them and brought nothing new to their music are horrible.

You mean Dream Theater?

i don't see why i have to hate or love them.
when it comes to DT, it always comes down to love and hate on this forum. silly.
how about a poll where you rate them from 9 to 10? much better. it would give a clearer view of people's opininons. i dont know, maybe it already has been done.

When American bands learn to spell properly i may treat them with a bit more respect, talking phonetically is more disrespectful. especially Polish names where the w is pronounced as a v.

Don't you think that the fact that they are a "love or hate" band says a lot about them? I mean different stuff (for better of for worse) is always going to cause that kind of reaction on people, fans and musicians. And don't pretend to end that awsome polarity DT creates . So keep on dreaming, in or outside the theater, where you like it most.

NO DOUBT ONE OF THE LEADERS OF PROG METAL.THE ONLY THINK I DISSLIKE IS THAT SOMETIMES THE GIVE YOU THE IMPRESSION THAT THEY WANT TO WIN A SPEED CONTEST INSTED OF EXPRESSING THEIR FEELINGS. GREAT IDEAS SOMETIMES COEXIST WITH ´´TOO MUCH´´ SOLOS.
IF YOU PUT ASIDE TRAIN OF THOUGHT WHICH I I FIND FLAT(WITH THE EXCEPTION O STREAM OF CONSIOUSNESS AND IN THE NAME OF GOD), THE OTHER ALBUMS HAVE SOME IMPRESSIVE IDEAS.(EVEN FALLING...)
