I don't drink and I graduated co-valedictorian, to refute your slanderous accusations, and I still have no idea what you're talking about. I know you're a college professor, and thus, actually have a real job, unlike me, but I still don't see what that has to do with the periodic table (or the fact that many of the people in this thread are hippies Wink).
 
That "elementary" pun physically hurt. :(

Re the link to their song, that was not mine, of course (mine appeared above that). My link was for a much older, funnier, better-sung song. I get a real kick out of the ditty, especially the "yip yip yip yip um mum mum mum" vocals, and I love the dancing audience members.
 
(It makes for a good stock, silly reply to unflattering or whining posts.)

Nudity, (he typed, trying to steer this thread back in the direction of "on topic").
 
Living in the Netherlands, it never ceases to amaze me just how hung up the US gets about it. Here, virtually anything goes. It's nothing to walk through Amsterdam and see a bill board poster or advertisement, featuring full frontal nudity, male and female, and you know what? No one gives a sh*t! They've been that way since the 60s and Dutch society has yet to slide into a cesspit of Sodom and Gomorrah style iniquity. In fact, the Calvinistic Cloggies are some of the most inexcitable, level headed, and broad minded people I've ever encountered.
Can't those Bible Belt prudes see? Making a fuss about nudity is what makes it shocking. Whole tribes in Africa and South America walk around stark bollock naked and no one bats an eyelid. Why aren't they all raping each other every minute of the day, or hiding behind the nearest bush? Because no one told them that sex , nudity and shame are inexorably linked, that's why.  Of course, Christian missionaries and their misguided "soul saving" have tried to scupper this 'at one with nature' life style through the centuries. As said tribes are also descended from Adam and Eve, why didn't they inherit the biblical "shame" as described in Genesis? Strange, that .

n00bs, it takes like a 2 second google search to fing who the actress was, and 5 more seconds to find the actual pic

It actually made ma hate High School Musical a little less... no just kidding

Really big deal... there are hotter porn stars of the same age out there with many better pictures. Now people bitching about how terrible this pic is, but digging in their browser history will show a different story entirely Media is a business and scandals pay off well.

^ well, that scene is really not very offensive ... but there are some movies which contain hard pornography and are considered to be of artistic value which seems to allow them to be broadcast on TV ... at least in Germany. The most popular of them are Intimacy and Romance.

interesting comment about the attitude to nudity in the Netherlands - being British i come from a culture where people went to a lot of trouble to change out of their swimming costumes modestly on the crowded beach, using three hands and a towel - it must have been excruciating to witness .....
 
During a holiday in Austria some years ago we visited a heated indoor/outdoor swimming pool set in the mountains and snow, there were no  seperate changing rooms, but mixed, and people were walking around totally starkers without a care - except the English couple still struggling with their towels in the corner! Embarrassed
