I agree with most of the albums but i would have one or two of Tangerine Dreams 36 albums there  maybe Phaedra and Force Majure

Well bands such as The Clash, Pere Ubu, Devo, and Tom Waits were all influenced by him.  There are probably more but I will have to look into it

The Clash???! The band who went out of their way to say they didn't like prog! Don't get that.

Tom Waits: unique like Beefheart but coming from a different direction. Stands alone.

The one Devo LP I have never suggested Beefheart: so which do you suggest so I can make the link?
