Originally released on Decca's specialist high fidelity stereo label Phase 4. Remember at the time, it was probably mum and dad who owned the stereo gramophone, not the kids*. Hence a label originally aimed at the middle class and the middle

I have problems really 'getting' this album. I recognize its excellent production, and symphonic qualities. However besides 'Tuesday Afternoon' and 'Nights of White Satin' (a great song killed by overplay on FM radio) I am easily distracted when listeni
