Lamb by miles. One of the easiest votes I've ever cast on this site.

The Lamb followed by Selling England followed by W&W followed by Nursery Cryme.

Oh great! A Genesis poll, how good to see one of those once in a while. I bet this thread will spawn another healthy and good discussion! And while we're at it, we might as well create a Genesis vs. Yes poll! That would be totally refreshing! It really warms my heart when I see people discussing those bands, because it's really rare here, you know.

Anyway, my vote goes to Selling England by the Pound, but I'm not really a fan of the band.

I'm everything but a Genesis fan. The only album I can survive until the end is The Lamb. Honestly not just survive, I like it a lot. I've never understood why SEBTP is so loved, I find it quite boring and I'm used to skip a couple of songs.
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

I think from an engineering point of view, if we look at "studio
album" in that context, it's pretty interesting.
I went with Nursery Cryme because it really first put down the absolutely uniqueness of the band.  They seemed to mature in that way. They seemed to get a lot sonically richer around
the "Wind and Wuthering" and "And Then There Were Three" stage.  Dance on a Volcano
and Entangled from "A Trick of the Tail" are also engineering masterpieces.

Discussing Genesis in a prog forum, the nerve of some people, eh?

If you don't like Genesis, and don't want to discuss them or vote in polls about them, I suggest that you simply don't.

Oh, and posts like yours doesn't exactly help creating a healthy and good discussion.

No I'm okay with Genesis and discussing it, but I think people tend to overdo these kinds of polls.

My fav used to be SEBTP, lately it's Lamb Lies Down.  I enjoy pretty much anything by Genesis though (except Calling All Stations).

Hon. mention to ATTWT, because a few of those songs are among my favorites they ever did.
