Hi, surely this has been discussed before but I did some quick search and didn't find it and sorry, I'm lazy to search and search.
I wonder why when writing reviews we have the script tricks such as <p> to change paragraph, <b> for bold, if you write "..." it will display a question mark etc, while for writing in the forum everything is clean and we have the icons for bold, italic, if you want to make a paragraph you just make it with the keyboard etc.
I have no idea about making websites. What is the reason we can not write reviews with a user-friendly interface the same as when posting in the forum?

I think the requirement for <i> <b> </i> </b> in reviews stems from the database requiring HTML tags for the text to display correctly. This is a bit perplexing until you get used to it but after a while just becomes second nature.
Changing this would probably require a software update and that is solely the preserve of the owner (MAX) |

It is annoying at first, not being uniform, but worth it under the circumstances if those things are important to the writer. In other words, deal with it .

Yeah, sure it's not a big deal, it just seemed an appropiate question for "help us improve the site", that's all. If we have a nice user interface which works for writing in the forum it just seems strange that the same could not be used for writing reviews (removing the non-applicable commands such as the emoticons, insert image or movie etc).

I think M@x set it up this way because hackers were using HTML scripts in reviews to screw up the site. |
