Hi, surely this has been discussed before but I did some quick search and didn't find it and sorry, I'm lazy to search and search.

I wonder why when writing reviews we have the script tricks such as <p> to change paragraph, <b> for bold, if you write "..." it will display a question mark etc, while for writing in the forum everything is clean and we have the icons for bold, italic, if you want to make a paragraph you just make it with the keyboard etc.

I have no idea about making websites. What is the reason we can not write reviews with a user-friendly interface the same as when posting in the forum?

TX

I think the requirement for <i> <b> </i> </b> in reviews stems from the database requiring HTML tags for the text to display correctly. This is a bit perplexing until you get used to it but after a while just becomes second nature.
Changing this would probably require a software update and that is solely the preserve of the owner (MAX)

It is annoying at first, not being uniform, but worth it under the circumstances if those things are important to the writer.  In other words, deal with it  Tongue .

Yeah, sure it's not a big deal, it just seemed an appropiate question for "help us improve the site", that's all. If we have a nice user interface which works for writing in the forum it just seems strange that the same could not be used for writing reviews (removing the non-applicable commands such as the emoticons, insert image or movie etc).

I think mailto:M@x" rel="nofollow - M@x set it up this way because hackers were using HTML scripts in reviews to screw up the site.

Ah well, in that case, fair enough!
