Well...basically, the research doesn't support them (I would...or you would have to look up the studies and expert pieces about the issue if you're interested).  I'm a bit rusty on this, but I can say that there's a running joke in the psychology dept at my uni about the M-B tests (can't remember that either  but it has something to do with astrology).  Typology tests are often used with first year college students to initiate them into self-analysis and to help them choose a career path, at which psychologists say such tests are not an accurate representation of an individual's personality.  Self-inventory is not as reliable as assessment by a certified professional...or a test that is backed by funding + research.  If you are testing yourself, the door is opened to a slew of outside factors (ie. "demand characteristics") that can affect the way you respond (ie.  some people may WANT to be an introvert...or have an inaccurate self-concept that would reflect in their answers; almost anything you can think of here).  How can you tell which tests actually are supported by peer reviewing and research?  Ask an expert, research it for yourself, etc...you will have to pay for a good test because research requires support/funding.

Whether or not one is quick to judge is not always a matter that they can analyze themselves, especially not with a close-ended question.  People can show consistency and a bewildering amount of deviation in the way they make decsions and solve problems...I'm really harping on the personal expectation demand characteristic because it applies most strongly here (and the results speak for themselves in that this test can be quite accurate but even more often inaccurate, and thus reliability & validity will fluctuate depending on who you ask).  We know that in dealing with deep characterstics of themselves, subjects are going to become considerably emotional, thus decisions...results will depend strongly on feelings - feelings of the moment.
