One hour left and I will leave my home to do 3 night shifts in a row. I presume it will be quiet at night so I will have a look at the 'unreviewed album list' and perhaps make some reviews Wink

In the early Eighties Gandalf made wonderful music, lots of Mellotron, beautiful acoustic guitar and some very moving electric guitar soli, I hope your reviews and Andrea Cortese his efforts will be a boost to discover this Gandalf era, Prog-jester Thumbs Up

I finished reviewing some albums, so they can be removed from the list as for now. Here's a list of them:

John McLaughlin trio - Que Alegria

Czeslaw Niemen - Strange Is the World

later tomorrow I'll do
SBB - SBB and
Gjallarhorn - Grimborg
but now it's getting too late and I'm hungry.

Indeed Andrea, I noticed this one on the latest Btf. Newsletter I received today:

3) Faveravola - La Contea dei Cento Castagni (2006)

I will ask my friend Hans from Progwalhalla to order it, if it disappoints, you will pay Andrea, OK? Wink

Well, Erik, Faveravola is a warm symphonic-prog album that is more melodic than the usual italian prog records...does it's possible? Yes, it is!!! BTW, even if not a bombastic one, it nevertheless is a very pleasant listening, near to the softer side of Le Orme and with hints to Moody Blues and gentle-folk-medieval sound of Angelo Branduardi.

...perfect for when you have to relax your ears. I wait a three stars review from you. Nothing more and nothing less!!Wink
