I had no doubts. None it would be close, which is all that matters. Thus fun. Winning would just be the cherry on top. 'f**king' Camel has been officially retired and passed on to another group to have my ire for the next 4 or 5 years till we do this again! Unlike last time they met when General Micky was occupied in guerilla warfare campaign upon the sitte and some of its collabs in the collab zone. This time he had time to plan his campaign for the hearts and minds of the undecided/ambivilant and mobilize the small but passionate ELP army for the core votes. |

Anyhow.
Thanks to everyone for getting out the ELP vote. As I noted at the beginning of the battle, in addition to the hitlist/sh*tlist I have been compiling. I have been compiliing a good list. A list of battlefield promotions for those who showed great bravery in voting for ELP, great courage in the face of ridicule from their friends in supporting ELP. Cheers to all who have voted. edit. ...for ELP that is remember everyone!!! Edited by micky - December 15 2014 at 16:15 |

Jerusalem, the only way to stop this living sin is throwing Micky into the infinite space after the Great Gates of Kiev where he may become an endless enigma taking pebbles from the Old Castle.

Does this work retrospectively if I've already voted for ELP (I notice they're up by one vote as well). |

hah. Now really.. if I said yes.. I'd never get to vote in any other of the polls. That has to be reserved for swing votes.. the undecided!!! They were the key to try win this. Something I learned in my 2nd year of study under Field Marshall Ivan. Camel is a 2nd Division PA's cult favorite. I knew there couldn't be THAT many fans. The key has always been appealing the large but often apathetic center! |

Camel is better but whatevs. ELP has gotten a lot of flak for years, so it's cool they're getting some love again.

This poll should have been stopped earlier when the outcome was right. Same with the Le Orme vs Rush & Magma vs Hawkwind-polls. I'm happy to see that outside of PA in the real world and the rest of internet everyone that has been exposed to the awful sound of ELP - hates them. Take a Pebble is kind of nice though.

Ha, I voted earlier but didn't leave a comment. ELP of course, I don't mind Camel but they have a tendency to send me to sleep. |

I'm surprised ELP are making such a strong showing in these polls, since I've often thought they might struggle to beat Little Jimmy Osmond on here.

Hey! Has everyone forgotten the late 70s? (Unless you were too young of course!) Us ELP fans took some flak let me tell you. Didn't matter - Rush fans, punks, turncoat prog fans, skinheads, all lining up to stick the boot in along with the high priests of post punk cool running the music press. Of course, the band made things worse for themselves with THAT album sleeve! No wonder we come out fighting decades later - it's in our nature!

I can't vote in this poll, despite having enough posts.
Has Micky fixed this so only ELP voters can vote or has he closed the poll as soon as ELP scraped in front?
