Is there anybody out there.........
Yes, DARQ., in the live review of Roger Waters thread, that was one such post.....but I must be losing the KOD touch [soft and passionate as indeed it always is] as someone has added a post script, or is it a scripted post? Anyway, there are now post posts afterall! ! !
[Enough with all the 'afters' already, it aint PM yet, at least in my part of the world - but it may be post meridiem elsewhere - is it]?
Who cares - KOD.......now! ! !

Yes, someone please kiss this thread. Oops, I mean kill. Or kill me. One or the other. (Kiss me? No, that would be highly dangerous)...
Ahem. I speak nonsense.

Was that a post midnight post or a post post post midnight. Either way, it's not the last post........as with the going down of the sun, we will remember them.

MMMMMMWWWWAAAAAAHH........
Wow, that wasn't bad........ ...and I'm a happily married man...........woops
'The Hare Who Lost His Spectacles' is a witty and clever
theatrically influenced interlude which breaks the mood and lightens the demands the piece, in it's entirety, places on the listener, in it's all embracing challenge to the bounds of progressive music of the time which, if it were not for this fullsome work, was in danger of becoming artistically ho- hum.
[ Now, that ought to do it. No one's going to want to go near this.....and can you blame them. You bloody beauty, the KOD lives and I can be saved from further embarrasment]! ! !

Ha! I see what you did there, trying to derail this thread by actually discussing something related to music. You'll never catch us out wih your highfalutin ways and your clever clever words, there will always be some one somewhere on this forum who would be prepared to argue the diametric opposite of whatever statement you chose to make and thus defibulate the heart of this dying thread.
I for one, for example, could categorically state that Ian Anderson wouldn't recognise the rythmic purity of the iambic pentameter if it bit him on the nose, so constructed this meandering dolop of miasmaic nonsense purely for the benefit of self-gratification and the love of his own voice.
But of course, I wouldn't say any such thing because that would be an illicit provocation tantamount to deliberate taunting for the purpose of soliciting a counter-response incitement.
And anyway - hare had a spare pair - which renderes the whole piece both superfluous and redundant both metaphysically and logically.

Guilty of 'counter response incitements'........moi?
I'm only trying to let this thread terminally defribulate itself into oblivion, in peace. So something about Genesis selling out, Hackett v. Howe should do it, since the APP Tull and 'hare' thing did n't work.
Hang on a sec.........a disclaimer! That'll do it , it always does . Why didn't I think of it before and put everyone out of their misery sooner. It's the epitome of redundant rubbish. Who responds to what's written on the back of their dry cleaning ticket, their undercover car park or ferry ticket . Absolutely no-one, so here goes.........]

[ Yes.... a few 'saids', 'aforementioneds', 'whatsoevers' and the masterstroke, a proviso - this is absolutely mind numbing stuff, better than those Hackett v. Howe polls -
R.I.P, K.O.D. , this time for sure].

You know, I respect what you're doing here. It takes guts to say "hey, I'm don't get why my posts always end threads, and I refuse to let it turn me off to this website, what can I do to reverse this trend" (I think I've paraphrased it accurately). I for one will always attempt to make sure your threads don't become the final word on any post. Granted I may miss a few, but you can rest assured I'm there, ready to unburden you of that experience.

I know how to end this thread. Genesis' downfall can be contributed to the ongoing failure of the war in Iraq. Gabriel, foreseeing the wanton destruction, quit the band in order to enjoy the last few decades with his family. He later recounted his vision to Steve Hackett. Also, Bush says that synthesizers give terrorists easy access to inferior copies of weapons.
I believe the prog-related forum should be removed because it will lead to more and more related discussions until we start typing about ANYTHING that pops into our heads.

The Theatre of Feline Dreams.
Acting upon that thought, I have just put this thread into a sugar bag with a brick, tied off the top with rope and thrown it into the Ross River.
Why? I remind you of the thread title . I just want to end it all .......now...........MEEOOWW.

It's just in: Gabriel-era Genesis gives you cancer, just like oxygen, aspartame and cattle.
