lol there's no booze in the house. I don't keep any in here for myself.
Going out to drink is the only reason to leave the house ya know.

Oh, and I hope Coughlin doesn't end up paying for these losses. I hear the rumblings already.
And I love how they were complaining about the Eagle game being canceled and what precedent is this going to set for the NFL, and basically implying this is another example of the sport going to sissyness.

There's supposed to be 18" of snow, and continuing to fall over the night. A night in which there will be thousands of people drinking and trying to get in and out....
These talking heads are so stupid sometimes I swear.

People don't bother to think about the situation they just go "Omg they cancelled the game because of the snow wtfffff put a dress on them."

Face it you can't expect the average football fan to be rational.

Shame this was one of the "professionals"

Well, guess video games will fill the void of this game. Havn't done that in some time.

I'd rather not have to deal with people assuming I mean soccer when I say football.

Now that I'm sick of playing with losers/13 year old's telling "yo mama" jokes all game long...YES, it's time for Agalloch.

Vikes in a shocker over the Eagles, which will in a roundabout way cause the Giants to miss the playoffs.

That was especially rewarding.  Most fun I've had watching football this year.  Big smile

Come home from a long day at work, dealing with moving my car around since an a****le parked in the spot we plowed out...but come home to see the Eagles lose!?

The terrible Vikings, with nothing to play for, Joe Webb is the QB and have been stuck in the hotel room for 2 days...come out and beat the Eagles in a pretty convincing win it seems, and apparently Vick is hurt bad.
Thank you football gods.

I know this is bad for the giants, bears have less to play for yadda yadda, I really don't care.
If by some miracle the G-men make it in...they would play the Eagles it seems.
Here's to hoping for a miracle.

Supposedly the coach of the Bears said they are going to play their starters as they really want to beat green bay. Hopefully they'll go through with it. I don't care for this sitting the team nonsense.

Yes, I hate it.
While this may have nothing to do with it, does appear that teams that sit tend to lose in the playoffs.

I've thought about that too. I prefer to give the example of the giants in their latest super bowl win. Played like hell agasint the pats, but they took that momentum all the way through the playoffs.

Obviously not enough to prove anything...but I like to think it does. Big smile

The Colts are another example, though that's not a good one at all really lol

I remember the Bengals last year, against the Jets (who played hard while the Bungles rested)
Eh whatever, if I was a coach and was in the position to rest...I'd play em, unless they really need it of course.

Of course we'll see IRL....in Madden it's easy for me to go for it on 4th &16 on my own half of the field and go for the TD over FG every time. I'd like to see a coach with the balls/stupidity to do that for real!

I'd play them too. Unless they were nursing injuries they'd be out on that field.

And I want to see more field goal tries on 2nd down. How about a punt on 1st? If you could recover it you'd gain a good bit of yardage.

And I hear they need a coach in San Fran if you're looking.

I have done the FG on 2nd down actually.
Usually to f**k around, but a few times because time was closing and I decided to really go for points.

And yeah, I'd be insane...but annoying. You should how pissed people get when they can stop me 3 times in a row, and I convert a 4th and long every time!

But wow, IF by some crazy chance the Eagles lose their last game, and Giants win....
Either one of the games they pissed away (Titans/2nd Eagles) would really hurt now.

That's good with me. I'm a Giant fan, but would like to see them lose to the Redskins, not make the playoffs and have to dump Tom Coughlin. I'm so sick of his confused-"what the f*#k just happened?" look on the sidelines. He had one great season and the last two years the team collapses down the stretch. He's lost them, time to move on.
