Rush is not in the so called big 6 of prog. LOL

Either way, they deserve to be in there

Or maybe we should stop classifying bands like that, or in tiers etc.
Just like the big 4 of thrash, it's irrelevant, does not help in any way.
Also the "big" here means popularity.

Dream Theater is the greatest progressive act in American music history and the only American prog band on par with the British "Big Four".

 British Big 4? What's that?
Greatest compared to which bands? Also what criteria do you have in mind for such a statement?

I love some DT, but "the greatest progressive act in American music history" ?! Confused I don't know about that...

Contemporary Scandinavian progressive music is extremely overrated.

Jeff Lynne's sunglasses are a portal into a world where beans talk and buildings are made out of fruit.

Your Prog Hot Takes thread is a meaningful depository of intellectual credibility.

Giger Lenz Marron are the best jazz rock group from the 70s.

Genesis album Trespass is their greatest work; even better than what came after it by the band.

Former Dzyan and GLM guitarist the late Eddy Marron was enormously under-rated, and did not get the acclaim he deserved.

Eloy's best album was Inside.

You need to develop a bit why you think so.
I don't see it how it's "extremely overrated". I don't think it's even overrated. LOL
