I have an English Language and Literature degree, and my wife has a Psychology degree.

Okay, so we all know psychology is useless anyf**kingway, but still.  I have a friggin universal degree (practically), and I still can't find work outside the home (even with teaching experience).

sh*t, English is my major.LOLOuch
Although, I do plan to either minor in Business Admin or double major, depending on how many classes I will have to take.

Have you ever thought of teaching abroad?

To be fair, I went to a private school for one year, and my wife went to one her whole "academic" (psychology hahahaha) career.  So that helped raise the overall price, but still.

And teaching abroad?  Hell no.  I'm a comfortable, fatass, xenophobic American who likes beer and Judge Judy.

More like Kafka. LOL

Okay, I can be happy, at times, but it's not that kind of joyous happiness, and certainly not the kind of gay-happiness. Tongue

Nah, Kafka is quite positive to my weird brain. LOL

Psh Rob, 30k isn't so bad for 2 people. There are plenty of private schools that cost that much per year! Hell, my state school was 20 per year.

It is when you're kinda poor as f**k because you can't USE the damn degrees.  We even had grants too!

Oh yeah, I bet those Pell Grants for 4000 made a huge difference. I don't know what to do about education but our current system is terrible. $4000 doesn't get you sh*t!

I don't have high standards, but I draw the line at Ramen. There are some things a man can't do.

Both at one time or another.  I'll put it that way.

(Although, for the record, I've always cooked that on a stove or hot plate- never in a microwave).
