Yeah, just give it a try.
Guessing one cover of an ELP-track and two "speech in reverse" snippets, that must be doable!

What do you mean by "speech in reverse" ... is it not as we would hear it on a record

Yes, it is as we would hear it on record (there's no editing here besides extracting the snippets from the original albums).
Anyway, here are my clues (indicated in red):
1. (Listen to reverse in reverse and let Google do the trick)
2. ELP - The Hut Of Baba Yaga
3. Iron Maiden - (Paolo.Beenees came very close when guessing this snippet)
4. King Crimson - The Devil's Triangle
5. Blue Öyster Cult - Black Blade
6. Van Der Graaf Generator - Arrow
7. Jethro Tull - A Passion Play (part two)
8. (Aaarrg, a bass playing label owner!) - The Hut Of Baba Yaga [cover]
9. Yes - The Fish [live]
10. Focus - Hocus Pocus

Could 8 be Magellan?
I think, I say think, that The Iron Maiden is Still Life.

Nope.
Hint: I tried to be a bit cryptic with my clues for 1 + 8.

Sorry, I just overlooked your edit.
Yes, 3 = Still Life is correct.

I'd hate to see this game die. Maybe you should give the answers so we can move on?

OK, I agree. I also would hate it if this game would die.
So, here are the last 2 answers:
1 = ELO's "Face the Music".
The clue was: "Listen to reverse in reverse and let Google do the trick". When listening to this snippet in reverse you hear someone say the following words: "The music is reverible, but time ...". The first hit in Google on these words learn that it's from ELO's track "face the Music".
8 = Mekong Delta.
The clue was: "Aaarrg, a bass playing label owner!". The band was formed by the bass player Ralph Hubert, who was at the time also the label owner of Aaarrg Records.
Well, that wasn't to hard, or ..?
OK, who's next with releasing Gone In 60 Seconds #3?
