Indeed, he practically makes an art out of short story.

I was most impressed/touched with "A Perfect Day For Bananafish", so that's why it's probably my favorite. The first time I read it was while walking to school (had that habit - until a car stopped just 1 cm in front of me) and at the end of it, I was in the middle of the sidewalk, frozen, with my jaw dropped to the floor.
