Ooooh, I love Tarkus.  It's an amazing record.  It's almost as amazing as The Snow Goose.

Still might be Cheer-Accident, but Led Bib was very strong, that Jean Louis will be a good contender....basically Mr. Luke gets a billion thanks for pointing me to the UK punk-jazz scene.

I stopped at the library on my way home and picked up some CDs.  They had Oregon In Concert, which I am currently listening to.  These guys are really good.  I suspect this is some avant jazz with instruments like the Oboe, English Horn, Tabla, Sitar, French Horn, and Mellophone. 
 
I also got a jazz album from a local Detroit/Motown musician named Dave Hamilton.  This was from an album he recorded in the 60's but wasn't released until 2005.  He plays drums and vibraphone, and is accompanied by bass and lead guitars.
 
I also picked up a couple of classical albums, a Laurie Anderson album, and David Bowie's Station to Station.
