LOL

I'm just saying that Dsotm and Nursery Crymes aren't that strange of choices.

No album that is rated highly is going to be a strange choice. A strange choice would be an album that is not well regarded or, stranger still, relatively obscure.
What?

Exactly. So i'm not sure why Snow Dog would call those choices trolling.

Because dr prog has questioned the choices made by a wide section of people on this forum.  There is absolutely nothing wrong with suggesting DSOTM or Nursery Cryme as essential albums because, with due respect to differing opinions, they are widely held to be such so it is a choice that a lot of prog rock fans do make.  Hence, pretending that this forum is demented for suggesting such albums is either trolling or some super elevated form of snobbery that I cannot relate to.   There is a difference and not a particularly subtle one between the way Tom Ozric phrased his opinion and how dr prog said it.   What the bloody hell does "I'm glad I don't send people here to recommend prog to a newbie from australia." even mean?

As subjective as this thread is I have always found VDGG overrated and some of ELP ( Excluding anything up to Brain Salad Surgery)

My god this forum is gonna piss off a lot of people. The circuitous subjective nature is gonna really bring out the so-called 'Trolls' on this site. Well I've already 'Trolled' about my feelings about the YES album 'Close To The Edge' having a far too much praises, so I won't go further than that but it is interesting to hear what other albums are being listed here.
I never would have thought DSOTM would make it here. Lol
Gimmie my headphones now!!! 🎧🤣

"The album where I think most people got it wrong"?

Maybe our 22. best prog album of all time?

As pointed out some 9573907820589 times - there's no such thing as overrated. There's albums out there that a lot of folks deem priceless, which just don't sit well with some ie "the albums that a lot of you like but I don't - therefore you've got it wrong".

She looks like one of those ancient Greek sculptures - only much more alive though.

I agree with you and I also think many GG lp's are overrated.

I don't know which album is more boring... Floyd's, I think.

I agreed. ITCOCK is nothing special really. I'm big fan of KC, but from ITCOCK, I like only that title track and I Talk to the Wind.

We can phrase "album is overrated" to use not for subjective (realtive to personal taste) but for objective (absolute) overrating like this:

6/5 LOL Sorry, it is my silly joke only, Dean. Six stars from five means, that rating is objective over
