Much more interesting year (competition-wise). Love every album except the first and the last in the poll. Benefit is actually my favorite Tull-album. Fantastic atmosphere and excellent songwriting from start to finish.

Got to think a little first. Love Poseidon and can't relate to the criticism of it. Perfect its own beauiful way to my ears and the titletrack brings tears to my eyes. But then again Lizard, Trespass and Atom are dear favorites of mine too.

1.Benefit  2.Lizard  from the list

But in general H to He is by far my favourite album from 1970

P.S. Why no VdGG instead of ELP in "BIG SIX"?
Would you catch the final words of mine?

Tough call, for me between ELP, AHM and IWOP. I would have to, however, go with the ELP debut...

Atom Heart Mother for me. Though Trespass is a more consistent album and as a whole a better one, but I just can't vote against the song Atom Heart Mother, there's nothing I like even remotely as much on Trespass (or any of the other albums on the list - even though the songs "In the Wake of Poseidon" and the duo "Prince Rupert Awakes / Bolero" are really wonderful too).

Easy pick for me: Genesis' Trespass, but I do love Crimson's Lizard and ELP's self-titled debut.

Atom. It hasn't been my first prog album, but it introduced mr to 20 and more minutes long tracks and together with Elp, it started my interests into classical music
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution
