Congratulations David. Nice review, and well done from one who is still trying to get his debut novel published!

Like the story about the girl feigning the asthma attack. Wouldn't it be better to just release the tiger? Just kidding sounds like an interesting read and some good witty advice for protecting yourself against dimwits. I was almost beaten by a gang of punks in a Rotten Ronnie's one night a few years back  but fortunately the cops were having a Mac Attack and showed up.

Congrats David - love the title btw, very Monty Python, but in a serious way of course.

We were told to avoid fights at all costs. Some special forces guys ( Australian SAS I think they were )  told us the best policy is to walk away  without a scratch if possible. Go for that option first. Only had one ocacsion in a pub when some drunken piece of sh*t didn't like our uniforms and wanted to prove what a bunch of wimps we were by picking a fight with the biggest guy in our group who happened to know some form martial arts. Sounds like the movies but I never saw a guy go down so fast.

of course--  I actually had a back&forth on the title but I decided why not just spell it out in honest terms

Excellent, David.  Well done!  Did you not already have a book published though, or is this it?  I seem to remember you mentioning a book you wrote when I first got to know you all those years ago.

Never a problem, David.  I'm not sure if it'll be my thing or not but I'll try and check it out anyway.

I still have that edited version of that short-story I wrote by the way.
