Hi everyone-- this is a review of a book I published in January called A Coward's Guide to Self-Defense.
It is the first and possibly only professional review a no-name writer
like myself may get. It is by Ken Bullock of the Berkeley Daily Planet.
http://berkeleydailyplanet.com/issue/2012-03-23/article/39492?headline=Book-Review-A-Coward-s-Guide-to-Self-Defense--Combat-Tactics-for-the-Thinking-Person-by-David-I.-Marshall--By-Ken-Bullock" rel="nofollow - http://berkeleydailyplanet.com/issue/2012-03-23/article/39492?headline=Book-Review http://berkeleydailyplanet.com/issue/2012-03-23/article/39492?headline=Book-Review-A-Coward-s-Guide-to-Self-Defense--Combat-Tactics-for-the-Thinking-Person-by-David-I.-Marshall--By-Ken-Bullock" rel="nofollow - -A-Coward-s-Guide-to-Self-Defense--Combat-Tactics-for-the-Thinking-Person-by-David-I.-Marshall--By-Ken-Bullock
and if anyone is interested in buying a copy of the book, it's available at Lulu or Amazon -- http://www.lulu.com/shop/david-i-marshall/a-cowards-guide-to-self-defense-combat-tactics-for-the-thinking-person/paperback/product-18172563.html;jsessionid=316E866A24F7654493E8DF7A22DA215C" rel="nofollow - http://www.lulu.com/shop/david-i-marshall/a-cowards-guide-to-self-defense-combat-tactics-

Thinking about publishing on Amazon as well, is it simple?
Congrats man!! I am a coward and would be slaughtered if I needed to fight so I may look into it

| I don't know about publishing on Amazon-- do they have a publishing service? I used Lulu which did a great job for me and treated me with utmost professionalism, and they in-turn listed the book on Amazon.
Hope that helps, and good luck if you ever take the plunge !

Oh I see, yes they do. You can upload your work for free and use a free ISBN (if you choose) and they will publish it or people can d/load straight to Kindle! I am poor as hell so it works
Also I like the the title and cover so when I scrounge up some cash soon I'd love to help a fellow progger!

Like the story about the girl feigning the asthma attack. Wouldn't it be better to just release the tiger? Just kidding sounds like an interesting read and some good witty advice for protecting yourself against dimwits. I was almost beaten by a gang of punks in a Rotten Ronnie's one night a few years back but fortunately the cops were having a Mac Attack and showed up.

We were told to avoid fights at all costs. Some special forces guys ( Australian SAS I think they were ) told us the best policy is to walk away without a scratch if possible. Go for that option first. Only had one ocacsion in a pub when some drunken piece of sh*t didn't like our uniforms and wanted to prove what a bunch of wimps we were by picking a fight with the biggest guy in our group who happened to know some form martial arts. Sounds like the movies but I never saw a guy go down so fast.

Only poetry but that's not really editable because it's supposed to be haphazard and stuff. I have a few things I've started but nothing that needs editing just yet.
