As much as I hate to criticise Yes, that song is an abomination of which all trace should be removed from this planet.

I'm not saying Mystery Tour is my second-favourite YES song of all time exactly, but it's my favourite song on The Quest album, although I know that doesn't change the fact that you consider it an abomination which should be consigned to the dustbin of prog.

I've listened to others but either don't know them well enough or don't like them well enough to add them.

I like early Yes a lot. It's the pre-Close to the Edge albums that I tend to favour (I really like to title track of CttE). Chronologically, and nothing obscure here, all real classics of Yes.
Survival (Yes, 1969) The Prophet (Time and a Word, 1970) Starship Trooper (The Yes Album, 1971) Heart of the Sunrise (Fragile, 1971) Close to the Edge (Close to the Edge, 1972) The Gates of Delirium (Relayer, 1974) Beyond that for other albums I would have to listen again and research. Fragile was the second cassette tape I ever bought. The first was The Who's It's Hard. Edited by Logan - August 10 2023 at 11:36 |

I ignore rules, for the most part. Besides, the songs are from the albums I care about. So consider the selection a condensed list of 10 songs from 5 albums.

1 song per album was a bit more challenging than just listing 10 favorite songs.

You pick the songs you want and perhaps go back to school and become a hall monitor. I'm not picking songs from albums I don't give a damn about.
