^I think Paul is just talking about "Then" from Time and a Word. He mentions "Does It Really Happen?" as part of his usual word/song title play.
EDIT: Nevermind. You fixed it while I was responding.

I'm not saying Mystery Tour is my second-favourite YES song of all time exactly, but it's my favourite song on The Quest album, although I know that doesn't change the fact that you consider it an abomination which should be consigned to the dustbin of prog.

I like early Yes a lot. It's the pre-Close to the Edge albums that I tend to favour (I really like to title track of CttE). Chronologically, and nothing obscure here, all real classics of Yes.
Survival (Yes, 1969) The Prophet (Time and a Word, 1970) Starship Trooper (The Yes Album, 1971) Heart of the Sunrise (Fragile, 1971) Close to the Edge (Close to the Edge, 1972) The Gates of Delirium (Relayer, 1974)
Beyond that for other albums I would have to listen again and research. Fragile was the second cassette tape I ever bought. The first was The Who's It's Hard.

I ignore rules, for the most part. Besides, the songs are from the albums I care about. So consider the selection a condensed list of 10 songs from 5 albums.

You pick the songs you want and perhaps go back to school and become a hall monitor. I'm not picking songs from albums I don't give a damn about.

Jon Anderson and the Band Geeks perform a medley of classic Yessongs. I think Starship Trooper is included there somewhere, And You and I know that's the best song on The YES Album, although Yours is No Disgrace if you prefer another song instead.

Just two more YES albums to feature, then it'll be time for me to Fly from Here, although I won't be flying Yorkshire Airplanes, as their one airplane only flies to Leeds - the same place it takes off from - because if it's outside Yorkshire, it's not worth visiting - especially if you're a Yorkshireman.

Undoubtedly, The YES Album that's been the Big Generator of the most controversy over the years is Tales from Topographic Oceans. YES, it's a long double album with four long Yessongs which was treated like a rotten Tormato by the music press, but if you Open Your Eyes, you'll gain The Keys to Ascension and realise what a classic album this is. The album came Close to the Edge of splitting the band up, when there was a Magnification of tensions within the group with so many Fragile egos at stake. In the ensuing Drama, Time and a Word has it that Rick Wakeman threatened to walk out during the recording of the album. Tales from Topographic Oceans climbed The Ladder of success though, topping the UK album charts for two weeks. Rick Wakeman left the band and didn't appear on the following Relayer album. There was Talk of a re-Union, but Heaven & Earth had to be moved to persuade Rick to return for the Going for the One album in 1977. The best-selling YES album of all, released in 1983, was famously named after its catalogue number, 90125, and that's coming up here next.
Just one more YES album left to feature before I Fly from Here.

I'm guessing live albums don't count? Because Yessongs is basically my favourite version of Fragile. This will be a very loose ranking because I love a lot of early Yes equally.
Albums:
Relayer
The Yes Album
Close to the Edge
Time and a Word
Fragile
Topographic Oceans
Drama
Yes
Going for the One
90125
Songs (hard picks for all):
The Gates of Delirium
Yours is No Disgrace
Close to the Edge
Then
Roundabout (close call with Heart of the Sunrise - prefer the live version though)
Revealing Science of God
Into the Lens (most of the songs on this album are about equal for me)
I See You (cover - does it count?)
Going for the One
Leave It
Honourable mention: America (cover)
