the following short "poem" appears in the "Circe" chapter of James Joyce's Ulysses (written between 1914 and 1921):

If you see Kay
Tell him he may
See you in tea
Tell him from me.

so hardly any new territory for April Wine. (and have a look at line 3 too)

In reference to the original posting - yes - of course it is play on words. I first saw this as a title to one of Metallica's albums and did a double take when I saw it. I am glad I am not the only one to see this - it is probably something I would have kept to myself if not for this forum topic. All in good humour just like the title of Caravan's album, though I wonder if the double entendre was intentional there...

What's the difference between a woman in church and one in the bath tub?

PM me if you have trouble with this one...............

if the woman in the bath-tub was a virgin, I'd say "one is croaking hymns, the other is strokng her hymen"

'If I could do it all over again, i'd do it all over you'...i like it, i love the album...but am i missing something?

I dont see the background behind this title, is it funny? is there something i am missing? my brother loves the title, but what is there to love?  I am so lost, to me its just a weird title, nothing clever, is it clever???

How can someone who supposedly hit puberty already be this oblivious?

Anyway, play on words or not, it's a great album.

Superb album.

Read somewhere that geoffrey Richardson (he of violin, electronic-spoons fame) actually played garden shears on stage when they played 'Hello Hello'...

Up on a hill top, far from the city
Overlooking a stream
I heard a sound, it made me look round
I looked back where I had just been
There just behind a ledge
There was a man who leapt to and fro
Clipping away at a hedge

Winter Wine is simply their best lyrics!!

And ITLOGAP (the track is also cool)

I think most of us had you hanging on , searching for the answer as we figured you were probably pre-pubescent.......

If we had told you , this could've been considered enticing a youth to undecent thinking!

And we would not want any of that happening in this forum , much even less on such a pure and immaculate thread!!!
