Fairly defensive game, some rain, good stuff!
Jets played damn well. Contained AP as well as you possibly can, kept Favre totally rattled (though I think it was more on the Vikings O-line/backs) he was under constant pressure! And their coverage was great. They kept the receivers in check all game, and Cromartie going one on one with Randy Moss and did so very well. LT was running like a new man!
Vikings I do think have a good team but yikes....some issues Oh and the Jets need to get that offense whipped into shape!

With the offense not giving committing any turnovers and their defense, the offense can pretty much be completely impotent.

Which is exactly how they're rolling at the moment! And I must agree with them/your last.fm Pat. You listen to way too much Katy Perry

I need to do something to make my friends/family/girlfriend/casual internet acquaintances question my sexuality.

Am I the only person taking the Pats over the Ravens this week?

Except for Pat, probably yeah... Like him or not (a lot seem no to...) Flacco is good with a lot of weapons, and New England's secondary may be young and improving but I think they will be challenged. Maybe they'll be able to beat it, but I hope not!

I think there may be ice in Hell today. The mighty Seahawks won a road game.
|
Can you tell me where we're headin'?
Lincoln County Road or Armageddon.

A win is a win but damn the Giants can never make it easy.... I think they tend to play to the level of their opponent. Also I'm all for run game but they are TOO conservative. You can milk the clock with safe/short passes instead of always going 3 and out.
But defense played very well again and they seem to be running the ball better, especially Jacobs. Eli was efficient. Special Teams are still killing though. Such terrible coverage, random bad punts, and the Punter dropped the ball again....this time twice on the same play!?!?
Also, Suh IS a beast. If we wasn't drawing tons of attention to himself he was getting pressure up the middle every play.

They are a completely one-dimensional team. They have the type of defense any team can score on and the type of offense that can be shut down by a couple of decent corners.

Yeah any fans fears that the Chargers have become a pass only team are true, like that's a surprise. Can't say how far they're defense has fallen but still, its the fact its the Rams. I didn't think their corners were any decent, they also got a ton of sacks!

Well, the Chargers defense was never really that good. What is it with the West conferences in each league? Why is the West so weak?

Because they're the west!
The Chargers used to at least be able to pressure you and get picks. Speaking of all that what the hell happened to Shawn Merriman?
And this result is no surprise, but I am surprised how close the Skins made it. McNabb was impressive given his complete lack of offense around him (esp O-line).

Oh, hope that guy on the Lions will be alright. Not sure who it was but on a Giants kickoff return someone went down and was so for minutes. Didn't see him so much as flinch the whole time, even when he was being taken away on the board. Also saw everyone coming onto the field, even guys in suits...so it must've been something very serious
