I can't see how that would be connected with downloading that file.

Here's another hint for #9: One of the members of the band from #3 is also a member of the band from #9

Me neither, but after downloading the file (or perhaps just visiting the sendspace site) it was there. Not to worry, no one tapped on my shoulder at work today

1. ELP - KE9 2nd Impression
2. From a self-titled RPI top 50 album
3. From a recent Symph album from an American band with a very clear link to another band
4. Porcupine Tree - Arriving Somewhere But Not Here
5. From a self-titled Krautrock album out of the early 70's

I know where you are coming from. I lost my second external hard drive yesterday - the one that I have been using to record all my albums from CD and vinyl to mp3 as complete, single album files - and I hadn't got the old Round-To-It out to back-up everything to DVD's for posterity as I had been threatening to do. Hours and hours of recording effort down the chute.
The moral here: actually back up your computer data ... and don't procrastinate about doing it!

Proto-Kaw. That's another one down!
1. ELP - KE9 2nd Impression
2. From a self-titled RPI top 50 album. Band has a two-word name in English and the album is from 1975
3. Proto-Kaw - Nevermore
4. Porcupine Tree - Arriving Somewhere But Not Here
5. From a self-titled Krautrock album out of the early 70's. The band's name starts with the letter 'M', with the album being from 1972
6. UK Space Rock from this century by a solo artist using an unusual pseudonym. Check out Page 385 of 'Guess The Cover' ... it is one of the four still to be solved in T.Rox 39
7. Focus - Answers? Questions! Questions? Answers!
8. Wonderful instrumental Symph from Brazil. This one is also still to be guessed in T.Rox 39
9. From what appears to be this American band's only release, a collection of 70's works released in 2002. This Symph band's name starts with the letter 'A', and is also the name of a ballet position, or the name of a twisted decoration of flowers, leaves and branches used in Islamic art.
10. Dream Theater - As I am

6 = Kingbathmat
5 = Mythos
8 = Index
I already suspected you of creating some parallels between the "Guess"and the "Gone" threads.
But until now I wasn't able to put my finger on it!
9 = Arabesque
Is 2 Cherry Five?
