The problem is that many bands are not educated enough to know that 36+ minutes of music is NOT EP but studio album, some bands think that if it's only less than 8 tracks it's an EP, wrong! but it's NOT "the end of the world"

Mayer, I think educating bands is beyond our responsibilities and possibilities. Smile
As far as I can tell, there are no rules declaring minimal times for albums and maximal times for EPs.
Want it or not, but artists' voices in cases like this count more than our opinions. Even if "bands are not educated enough". Smile

it's a 2024 release not a 2025

Cover: James McCarthy
Label: Reficul Records (RR-14-01)
Format: Vinyl, CD, Digital
October 31, 2024 (CD, Digital), March 30, 2025 (Vinyl)

1. The Lost Generation (5:16)
2. Drive North (7:36)
3. This Promised Life (7:32)
4. Racing The Flames (12:07)
5. Ghost Ship (7:25)

Total Time 39:56

- Mark Anthony K / all instruments, vocals
I was tempted to update this one myself, but I checked the availability of the vinyl and found that Mark is still waiting for the discs to be sent to him, so the release date of March 30 has been put back to an as yet undisclosed date. See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBPsmuMURAw.

Discogs has the CD version, here, and has very slightly different times for a couple of tracks to the Bandcamp digital version, these being taken from the image of the CD inlay, so I'm leaving it for the E&O team to take care of what info to actually include on the page. Embarrassed

Edit: The Bandcamp cover image is better than the current one, which has some colour missing at the left hand side edge, and at the top right hand corner.

- E&O Team: Thanks, guys, done (I think).

Yes, Mayer reported this release here about a week ago, and I explained in my reply that it was quite widely regarded as an EP, including by the band themselves.

^ Thanks, David, now I see it.
I was aware of caching issue, that it takes hours to update the image on artist page.
What seemed strange to me was the presence of old picture when I open the PAPANGU page in Admin panel.

^ No, Eugene - the new photo is definitely on the page. It sometimes takes up to an hour or more for artist photos to be updated, but it's showing now for me in my Chrome browser. Smile

Probably my teammate will be luckier. If not, almighty admins will help.

The band changed their name to Digital Life Project

D.L.P. is now known as Digital Life Project, formerly Deaton LeMay Project. Cutting-edge music that tip-their-hats to the pioneers of the Symphonic Progressive-Rock genre with compositions containing layered rhythmic ideas. Along with exciting endless tones; from complex phrasings -to- catchy melodies, they truly bringing their Symphonic-Prog-Rock style home, in the 21st century. For fans of ELP, Kansas, Styx or Saga a must to have !

- E&O Team: Thanks, Mayer, done.

Please choose one photo by your preference.
Maybe you have photos of the band on stage, in action? it would be much better, because looking at the guys in some semi-destroyed chicken shack it's hard to say they are musicians. Smile

I appreciate the rude and unsolicited feedback on our press photos. I'll be sure to book a Dubai hotel for our next photo shoot.
