Interesting that you removed Robert Wyatt's debut album after somebody voted for it. Not the best album on the list but certainly better than the 1 star that you offered. Sometimes certain musical expressions require a great deal of time to comprehend. Personally i think that Moving Gelatine Plates is the ultimate expression of prog in every form. One of my fave albums of ALL time :)

In situations like this, I went with first love - that is Camembert Electrique. Notable is Soft Machine's Fourth, which was Wyatt's last with the band. Some might argue that a lot of Canterbury left with him although Hopper and Ratledge remained. The slow fade of 'Virtually' on side 2 almost sounds like Wyatt silently leaving. A great album.
