The more I think about this, the more I think that RYM's approach is the right one. Although the two albums are 99% the same musically, the covers are different and the titles are different, so perhaps they need to be included as separate entries as on RYM, simply to avoid confusion?

^ Though Discogs still keeps the titles of the two releases the same, despite the different covers (I don't think they have realised as yet that track 8 differs in both in its length and musicians it features, so that may still change).

^^ I think 2 separate entries of "99% the same musically" albums would lead to even worse confusion.

At the moment I updated the album almost as you suggested.
You're right, with the list of bands the line-up info would be too long. As well as the explanation of track 8 versions' differences. I only mentioned that it's different on CD and digital album.
And, finally, I've changed the title to W.A.L.H.F. MORE F. (With A Little Hell From MORE Friends).

It's a right can of worms lol!

The line up for that release needs the different drummer for track 8 adding in. I accidentally left him off at the end of the list when I posted my corrected line-up, sorry Embarrassed:

- Tatsuya Yoshida / drums (8)

Minor typo in the last line: Digital album (July 9, 2024, contains different wersion of track 8 played by different line-up).

I'd definitely mention the different cover as well. That's the very first thing that people are going to see that's different between the two versions.

I'll see if I can find out what the Hell he is trying to achieve by doing this. It's even worse than some of Antony Kalugin's shenanigans in some respects. LOL

Edit: I've found his Facebook page, but there's no talk on there of re-recording track 8 with these different musicians, and the old grey self-released version Bandcamp CD inlay image indicates that the bassist for track 8 was Emanuele Sterbini (Sterbus) - the same bass player as on track 1 - rather than Hey Figueroa, as Discogs suggests. It's impossible to be sure about anything, to be honest.

^^ David, I've corrected the following:
- Tatsuya Yoshida / drums (8);
- fixed misspelling (version);
- mentioned different cover of digital version.

The rest, it seems, is a mystery.
And I believe nobody compares to Antony Kalugin. Smile

^ There are two digital versions though - the current one on Bandcamp, which is identical to the Azafrán Media CD - including the cover - and the self-released version that had the different line-up on track 8 plus the different cover. I think we need to show on the page that there are (or at least were) these two different digital releases. I can only find this album digitally on Bandcamp at the moment - nowhere else.

Maybe we could say something like this:

CD Azafrán Media - AP 2451 (July 9, 2024, Mexico)
Digital album via Bandcamp, July 9, 2024 - initially with a different cover, and seemingly containing a different version of track 8 played by different line-up

And yes, you're right...Nobody compares to Antony Kalugin! LOL

Edit: I've added the word 'seemingly' in that line about the digital album, because we don't know for sure that there definitely have been two distinct versions of track 8 featuring different musicians, or whether there was simply an error to begin with in the text that was printed on the original self-release artwork.

Edit 2: I've asked him on Facebook if he can throw any light on this for us.

Let's see if he responds. Smile
