"leave it here, nevertheless" - Maybe there has been a debate about this in the past?

Some small arguments to leave it here:
- It says "Peter Gabriel - And I'll Scratch Yours" on the CD and package, see here.
- It's the follow-up of "Scratch My Back", a PG solo release.
SCRATCH MY BACK / AND I'LL SCRATCH YOURS is also on the PG page.
- If we move it to VA, it would get "lost"... and someone may add it again on the PG (as a duplicate).

My 2 cents:

I agree, it's a various artists tribute album, and I would move it to VA/Tributes
Release info on PA reads:
"This is NOT a PG recording but a selection of his songs covered by other artists (several of whom have been covered before by PG himself on the album "Scratch My Back") - leave it here, nevertheless"

It's not clear to me why it should stay in Peter Gabriel discography. Confused

RF - http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=42160 is maybe "live" because it was recorded in one day with orchestra and choir, but there is no audience. Also, in the booklet (I have the CD here), it says "Recorded by DutchView on Saturday June 28th, 2003 at Paradiso, Amsterdam."
Google says Paradiso is a club in Amsterdam. Moving it to Live wouldn't be a big mistake, but in my opinion it better suits to Studio albums (looks like the club was used as a recording studio).

Alright, thank you for the insightful comments. Unless other views from your colleagues, I'll proceed in near days to edit the release group entries at Musicbrainz to match with Progarchives, so that:

Peter Gabriel - And I'll Scratch Yours: (Album + Compilation) -> (Album)
Robert Fripp - Robert Fripp, Andrew Keeling & David Singleton: (Album + Live) -> (Album)

^ I'm not sure about neither of those.

PG - http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=42433 is a various artist tribute album, but doesn't feel like a compilation. For some reason, it's under PG (not VA), see release information.

I could change my mind, but I would be curious to hear my colleague's opinion.

^ Mayer, I'm not 100% sure about this change. See release info:

Recordings made at Gnome Studio, UK in 1969, heavily altered in 2001

LP Gnome - AR-LP 00299 (1969, UK) Only privately distributed

Do you know this record?
