One of the cool things about 1999 was the release of some really good seventies music for the first time.
These four would be at the top of my list if they counted.
Mahavishnu Orchestra- The Lost Trident Sessions
Eiliff- Close Encounters With Their Third One
Gila- Night Works
Placebo/Marc Moulin- Sessions 71-74

In no particular order:
Kada- Kada
Porcupine Tree- Stupid Dream
Sinkadus- Cirkus
Vesania- Vesania
Anathema- Judgment
Present- No 6
In The Woods...- Strange In Stereo
Godspeed You! Black Emperor- Slow Riot For Zero Kanada
Anekdoten- From Within
Nebelnest- Nebelnest

"The wind is slowly tearing her apart"

"Sad Rain" ANEKDOTEN

I'd really struggle thinking of 10, so here's 5:

1. Sigur Ros - Agaetis Byrjun
2. Dream Theater - Metropolis Pt. 2
3. Opeth - Still Life
4. Mr Bungle - California
5. Camel - Rajaz

And a shout out to Gorky's Zygotic Mynci's Spanish Dance Troupe, even though it's not quite prog but I discovered recently and loved.
