You didn't find Secret Oyster to be good enough for this party? Or forgotten?

The double album by American trumpeter Miles Davis is the best for me. He used a mix of guitar and synthesizer. All songs released now are somehow similar to this album. He even won a Grammy as far as I remember. Btw, my musical taste is quite specific. I like mixes of different compositions. I listen to them via YouTube mostly. However, it is problematic to do it outside. So I use https://youtube-to-mp3.mymp3.red/ to download them to my player. I can’t imagine myself on the street without music.

Yes, you made Grumpy glad, and I can tell about myself, it's long time ago with some heavy smoke - even my memories are pretty good. Star
Heavy Smoke sounds like a good name for a Psychedelic Rock band. Here's a few I found earlier which came close to Heavy Smoke but no cigar. Smile

Lazy Smoke
The Smoke
Sweet Smoke
T.P. Smoke

That's absolutely fine. I'm honoured that you're inspired by my A-Z lists. Now, I need to make a start on putting together an A-Z list of fave Prog-Folk albums, although it could take quite awhile. It's going to be fun though.  Smile

Just super with this A-Z list possibility.

And glad to hear about your Prog Folk list - and certainly no need to hurry with that. Smile

Hi,

Sad for me, was on what's his name's thing on TB and him making a comment about the "voice" introducing the instruments that I thought was not nice. I think that Viv and Mike wanted to make it sound really cool that these instruments were listed, which OBVIOUSLY was a throwback to the original song that was a bit of a hit by the Bonzo Dog Band ... called "The Intro and the Outro" I think it was, and ... yeah ... it was meant to be fun and then some, but as someone looking at the music "seriously", a voice making it light and enjoyable is not a good thing. Vivian was an outstanding singer, narrator and had a voice that should have been used a lot more were it not that at the time, he was simply dismissed and ignored, which I think really hurt him. And then hearing him making fun of Marat/Sade ... gives Vivian a completely different intelect and ability that is rarely associated with folks involved in rock music, many of which, could be said to not be musically talented at all.
Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!
