Caress of Steel
Signals A Farewell To Kings Hemispheres Permanent Waves MP is a bit overrated imo but would still be number six.

I have that one too! it's nice that it has a different setlist. The good thing is that there's La Villa Strangiato, YYZ, and In the Mood. The bad thing is that there's only half of The Rhythm Method and nothing from Signals. I only saw them once, on the Time Machine tour, and had to travel all the way from Guatemala to San Antonio, TX, but I can assure you, it was one of the happiest days of my life!

Nice! I've seen many of their tours over the past 35yrs, I saw the Show of Hands tour in Maryland. That is one of my fav live albums. I also have the VHS tape of that show......

1. Hemispheres
2. Moving Pictures 3. A Farewell to Kings 4. Permanent Waves 5. A Show of Hands (believe it or not!) The first four in my favorites list are from the classic 70's era. A Show of Hands sums up the 80's era, which is the one I grew up with. |

Porg for short. My love of music doesn't end with prog! Feel free to discuss all sorts of music with me. Odds are I'll give it a chance if I haven't already! :)

This is not so easy...
1. Grace Under Pressure 2. Hemispheres 3. Permanent Waves 4. Moving Pictures 5. 2112 All of those before 2112 were pretty solid too. 85-96 were pretty bad years from my point of view, but even with some real missteps and simply too many songs, I do really like Vapor Trails, Snakes & Arrows and Clockwork Angels. |

I like the eighties era a lot and I think just about anything they did in that decade is better than anything they did later but it's still no match for their prog era(obviously I'm thinking post MP here when I say eighties)imo.
