I didn’t even need to read the rest of the list, because nothing could possibly top Bowie’s album for this year.
I did, just to try and be fair, read the rest of the list before voting. But it’s definitely Bowie. [EDIT] For the record there is a lot to love in this selection (a LOT!), so yeah, I’m giving pretty high praise to Bowie, but I honestly hold this final album of his in very high regard, Nothing else comes close for me, but top of the next tier of albums for me would be Gojira, Gong, Opeth, and Stick Men.
