CTTE and Supper are both brilliant......as much as I like CTTE, I'll go for Supper.

Could not have described it better! Supper's Ready is about as brilliant as it gets, I honestly doubt there is anything in the progressive rock genre that tops what Genesis did. |

If anyone is not getting goose bumps in anticipation of the apocalypse section when listening to SR, then you are basically dead.
Close To The Edge - nothing wrong with it and the playing is great , but there is no apocalypse section TAAB - ditto CTTE

It's a close call between CTTE and SR, but I've gone for CTTE for being a more cohesive song rather than SR which is basically different songs stuck together.

It'll get a few votes, though I don't think it'll win. |

No, I know how to behave in the restaurant now, I don't tear at the meat with my hands. If I've become a man of the world somehow, that's not necessarily to say I'm a worldly man.

However, if we are talking about the ultimate prog epic, then it would have to be A Plague Of Lighthouse Keepers. |

1. Yes - Close to The Edge
I'm unsure about my preference between Genesis - Supper's Ready and Jethro Tull - Thick As A Brick 1 & 2 but I think I would lean towards Jethro Tull. |
