It is a difficult one. I feel like I want to squeeze almost a third of their entire work into that list. But I will give it a go anyway. Am I
supposed to make a top 10 with a 10th place, 9th place and so on, or
just pick ten songs in no particular order? 1. Strawberry Fields Forever (my absolutely fave Beatles song and will always be!!)
2. Tomorrow Never Knows 3. a Day In the Life 4. Across the Universe 5. Dear Prudence 6. Because 7. Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown) 8. Paperback Writer 9. You´ve Got to Hide Your Love Away 10. Every Little Thing So much leave out!! And yes, Lennon is my fav, no George song make it (although love really many of his) at least there are one Paul song (Paperback). To me Beatles is not the greatest but most important band in pop music, because I believe all the popmusic (also prog) would have much more boring without Beatles (of course we will never know it because that alternative don´t exist).
