Rush - some of these albums are near perfection. However, have to say that Sabbath's initial run was a strong as any other rock band

Why I choose Sabbath is that I love all those albums in that poll, Moving Pictures & Signals are weaker to me than Rush seventies albums.

Sabbath very easily, probably the strongest run by any band ever.

Nuff said.

Undoubtedly an unfair contest, even on this forum, I expected Sabbath would be easily knocking the Canadians out.....

Rush's best six album run was Caress Of Steel to Moving Pictures. Signals is weak.

Rush without a doubt in my mind. A band that can be hard-edged when necessary, but also complicated and emotionally rewarding. I never cared anything about Black Sabbath and really find this poll to be a ridiculous one as both groups’ aims couldn’t be more different.

Signals is one of my favorite albums! From 2112 to Hold Your Fire, I don’t think they made one misstep. Remarkable albums.

Sabbath was always a limited band regarding musical ideas and playing ability.....I stopped being interested after Paranoid....maybe Master....but Rush continued to explore new ground and ideas both lyrically and musically.

As far as the best run......please......in the end there can be only one..........
The best 6 album run...make it 7 albums.....the mighty Led Zeppelin.

Power Windows doesn't even belong in that group as it rates high on the Suck Meter. Uninspired and messy.

Well, I think Fly By Night is as great as Caress Of Steel, also I really like Signals much more than albums after that. Specially Hold Your Fire is really boring album.
