Getting back to Zavkrapt's post (and btw ...where the hell is he these days....was he the one that left of his own volition or one of the posse that Micky got banned...?)  ;)

Talking Drum and or Book Of Saturday are the two 'weakest' tracks .....and for the record anyone who doesn't like the Unholy Three by KC: Larks, Bible Black, and Red.....need to run, not walk, to the nearest audiologist and then see a shrink.

People can and do have their own opinions, the question should be "Do those opinions hold up to scrutiny?" A good, valid opinion is an informed opinion (based on facts), but since taste is subjective and depends on a host of factors, I leave aside such matters. Everyone can like what they like and not like what they don't like even if they can't always act on that and admitting such may get in trouble (at least until thoughtcrime is punishable). Anyway, the good doctor has winkies in his post, so not to be taken too literally.

It is not my opinion that "Easy Money" is the least good song on the album, but I know that it is my least liked, but I do find the album generally doubleplusgood.

Lol at the 1984 references.

You are right, they have to have an informed opinion. The poll is telling us that people like "The Talking Drum" least than the others on the recording though

I don't understand all the hate for "The Talking Drum"... I really like it a lot... specially as a precursor for Larks part 2. The Book of Saturday is indeed somewhat useless for me, though. And Larks 1 I only learned to apreciate until I heard the new live versions.

^^ The Book of Saturday fits the album well. After the madness of the opener comes this somewhat relaxed track

nah.. I love my fearsome reputation and it is well earned.. but I won't take credit for what I didnt' do.  So don't blame me.. blame Captcha perhaps for his leaving.. or perhaps the general mindlessness and overall banality that permeates the forums these days. Daryl and I always got along well so I didn't run him off.

Yes, and The Talking Drum also fits the album well, as an introduction and slow build-up to the madness of Larks part 2.
