The Lions made the playoffs this year but were bounced in the first round.  The Red Wings are about to miss the playoffs for the first time in 25 years..so it is a sad day in hockey.  The Pistons are currently the last team in for the basketball playoffs, which means they would again get to be the first team to lose to Lebron James in the playoffs this year.  And then there are the Tigers, who are down in Florida getting in shape so they are ready to start the baseball season next month.  It is expected to be another long season but they still have all of the pieces to be a good team...they just need all of the pieces to perform as expected or better. Intense! Do you visit the stadiums?

My summer home is Comerica Park, where the Tigers play.  I attend many of their home games.  The Lions' stadium is right next door, so I see it all of the time.  I've only been to a few games since they've been there.  The Red Wings play at Joe Louis Arena which is further in downtown Detroit.  I usually try to attend 2 or 3 games a year.  They are moving into a new arena next year, which is acrossed the street from Comerica Park.  It will also be the new go to concert arena.  The Pistons play at the Palace, which is the only arena in the suburbs, and the current go to concert arena.   It is about 20 minutes north of my house, whereas the other stadiums are about 20 minutes south of my house. I attend more concerts then Pistons' games at the Palace.  It has great acoustics for a concert venue.  The Pistons are moving to the Red Wings' new arena next year.

Yep.  And they are talking about adding a professional soccer team too and building a new stadium for them that would be across the street from the Lions' stadium on the other side from where the Tigers' stadium is.
