Kual stuff.
Kinds of people you meet at shows in my town: Type 1: "We're the guys in the other band. You guys did a great job by the way. *walks off to have a smoke*" Type 2: "You guys sound kinda like a mix between Green Day and Blink-182. Those are the only two artists I know." Type 3: "Y'all remind me of that group all the kids are listening to these days. What's their name? The Mumford Sons or something?" Type 4: "Hey, I'm a shady character you barely know. Wanna join my band? Rehearsal is tomorrow at 8." Type 5: "Hey, you know my band needs a bass/guitar player. *looks around awkwardly*" Type 6: *drunk, high, and grinding* Type 7: Engineering/Art/English students who listen to Sunn O))) Type 8: Entertainment Industry students who are Tequila connisseurs. "Just a pinch of lime man." Type 9: "Man, Santana has the best tone. He just– REEAWAWAEARAERAR– and –REARFHSDARYASDYR– no pedals, just his custom Paul Reed Smith straight through a '74 Twin Reverb turned backwards with duct tape on the speakers all hanging from the ceiling on a trapeze. Tone for days. Magical."

I should say this is the crowd a particular venue where we usually play . People are there to hear the music, even if they're drunk and they don't care what the music is. Another place we play is more like how you describe.

Yes I have, trying to do flips from a platform and landing on a mat. I overshot a bit, landing on my ass on the mat while my feet smacked the concrete. I had big ol' bruises on my heels for a week.

Ture. Kaguya was stunning. Big Hero 6 was also good too, probably better than Song of the Sea on the storytelling front, though not as interesting visually, but Kaguya was definitely the best of last year. The big American studios always win though.

Wow, you kept the old school ones. I actually departed Nintendo when the Sega Genesis came out, after that I got a PS1...and then went on a very long console hiatus until my wife thought it would be fun to get a Wii.
Now we have the Wii, and a 3DS (older son), 2DS (younger son), and 2DS (me).
I'm sure there will be other consoles in our future, but I'll let the younger generation decide which ones.
