^ Absolutely. Not only does it not have a weak track, it's one of the all time great rock albums, never mind prog.

ok, I don't know if you're joking or if you hate JT so much... I've heard much, much worse bands than Jethro Tull.

Disc 1 Aqualung Cross eyed mary Cheap day return Mother goose Wondring aloud Up to me My god quad version Hymn 43 quad version Slipstream Locomotive breath quad version
Disc 2 Wind up early version Lick your fingers clean Just trying to be Wondring again Life is a long song Up the pool From later Slipstream 2 Dr Bogenbroom Nursie
This would have been a classic. I swapped some songs for improved versions also

All I like is prog related bands beginning late 60's/early 70's. Their music from 1968 - 83 has the composition and sound which will never be beaten. Perfect blend of jazz, classical, folk and rock.

The opener is quite irritating, I can't stand this hideous heavy-rock stuff (or anything with electric guitars).

Hymn is catching up, it's got my vote, too. I love about half of the album and can easily live without the rest.

One of my lesser favourite JT albums (despite all the hype). Worst track for me is Cross Eyed Mary

Out of curiosity, which Tull albums do you like better?

With the different versions out there does any know if I should upgrade to Wilson's mixes or not bother? It suffered from such awful production from the get go. Great album but awful sound.
Made at the same time and neighbouring studio as Zeppelin's same era release whatever that was. ;)

wind up is probably my least favorite. Aqualung is one of my least favorite albums, only because it is over played on the radio it still has some great songs. Cross Eyed Mary, and Hymn 43 are probably my favorites on the album. That said I am always blown away by Locomotive Breath when I see Tull in concert.

Mother Goose or Wond'ring Aloud... although on the remastered version the extended version is far superior. Shame they didn't include it on the album itself.

Wilson's mixes are far superior. If you're gonna purchase a remaster this is the album you should do so. The bass line has been revived, and the sound quality itself is astounding.

If you voted Wond'ring Aloud, you're wrong.
