I bought Father John Misty's new album yesterday. Been hooked on it. 

Would recommend to Shredders. 

Kind of Grizzly Bear is come places, of course some Fleet Foxes, and some 70's Singer/Song-Writer. 
But the man's style of lyricism reminds me of Morrisey's solo material. 
Not in phrasing, words, or even topic, but in tone and approach. 

There some humor in his dark cynicism, realism, and heart-felt observations. With the the title being "I love you, Honeybear", it's easy to say that some of his songs are about his relationship with his wife, or the condition of love in general, and they all carry some odd weight to those songs. 

Anyways if you haven't tried it, give it a shot. It's a nice change for me.
