I've only listened to the newest three albums, plus great annihilator and really liked them.  I was just disappointed with the live experience.

the beetles are virtually forgotten, but essentially inventented music as we know it today.  Before the beatless music used to be in black and white.  They were the first band to write real music during their short reign before fading into obscurity.  Fortunately many bands took notice and propagated the beetle influence. Of course all four members went on to be excellent solo artists.  We all know of the beetles' much more popular solo acts such as Wings, Yoko and John, Traveling wilberries and Radiohead but we should not forget that it all started in this modest little band from cambridge
