yeah... no sense waiting on this. No matter who much I love Pop Genesis... Genesis wasted too much of the 70'd finding their true voice in music. King Crimson... ehh.. I respect the hell out of them.. but not anywhere close to a favorite of mine. King Crimson it is....

I love both bands so I'm going to sit back on this one for the moment though I'm leaning slightly towards Genesis.

Love love LOVE these bands!!!
I could converse back and forth until the next new year and still not be any closer to an actual vote, so I went for the scientific eenie meenie miny moe method.....and subsequently landed on Genesis
Doesn't matter though. Floyd will win this in the final round (like I foresaw in a true Nostradamus moment earlier on
).

Crimson. Finally checked all their albums and not even one I thought was flat out bad. Genesis is probs my 3rd favorite but don't think they can really compete. Even Supper's Ready can't beat Starless in my book so the Crimson King it is!

Genesis is very good, but I prefer KC. I agree with Micky about Lizard

Every sappy post-prog symph band references Genesis. Reason enough to vote for King Crimson.

Easy...Genesis....No contest for me.
Bands like Kansas or Anglagard would had made it more difficult, but I simply can't stand post ITCOTCK King Crimson.
Another case of complexity for the sake of complexity
