The CD's are available now in my local record shop but I'm still waiting on the vinyl from them. Correction: Only the 2 Cd bonus editions are available from the record shop, not the single disc editions which should be out next week.

I'll probably get these for Christmas. My Zep CDs are pretty old.

Waiting for my local record store to get them...the vinyl that is. I have read on different forums that the vinyl are again excellent SQ, pressed to perfection by Pallas in Germany.

^ I think it's necessary: there was only one digital remaster and their quality is c p. Also, it was not easy to find LZ LP's here. Now I can find it in the local store and not very expensive.

I got the vinyl remasters of Zoso and Houses last night and with the added detail, there's a lot to take in. Especially during Rain Song. You don't know weather to concentrate on the sparkling acoustic guitar, cleaner electric guitar or JPJ's cleaner sounding Mellotron.
I guess everyone should be lucky enough to have this problem.

^The two disc 'Deluxe' editions . I can't say that the bonus discs are essential but there are some good alternate versions and excellent backing tracks, like the Battle Of Evermore, which is stunning even without the vocals.

If I were just discovering Zep, I think I might go for the reissues, but my vinyl copies of the albums are where I turn. I know every hiss, pop, crackle and skip - they've become parts of the songs themselves. Improved sound ain't nothin' over the memory of those sounds.....nothing can improve on memory.

I've got the HOOH special edition, the sound is pretty good. I'm not so sure about the extras though, who wants versions of Led Zep songs without Plant's vocals, or Moby Dick without the drum solo?

I'm really, really, really enjoying the 'companion discs' of these Led Zeppelin Deluxe Edition reissues. Great to hear these studio outtakes and alternate versions. Honestly surprised that some people don't like them.

Some supposedly 'leaked' information from Amazon France was posted on the Led Zeppelin forum.
Here is a rumored track list for the upcoming Physical Graffiti remaster's bonus disc:
1. Brandy & Coke (Trampled Under Foot - Initial Rough Mix) 2. Sick Again (Early Version) 3. In My Time Of Dying (Initial Rough Mix) 4. Houses Of The Holy (Rough Mix With Overdubs) 5. Everybody Makes It Through (In The Light Early Version/In Transit) 6. Boogie With Stu (Sunset Sound Mix) 7. Driving Through Kashmir (Kashmir Rough Orchestra Mix)
And here's an image of the packaging:
