WHAAAAAAAAATT?!?! Lol! `Signify' is everything that can go so right with modern progressive rock! It's got a beautiful blending of old and new styles, long instrumental passages without useless soloing, dark ambience, thoughtful lyrics, sublime group harmonies. It also serves as something of a nice send-off to the early days of the band, before Mr Wilson started focusing on perfecting his songcraft with `Stupid Dream' onwards.

For me it's up there with Paatos' debut `Timeless' as one of the best modern progressive albums.

ps - yeah, `Lightbulb Sun' is pretty damn good too!

ABACAB? LOts of talk over that since a mention here.

I like lot's of ABACAB at least half---and like it better than some albums---favs--Abacab, Me and SArah Jane, Keep it Dark, Dodo---2 of those songs Dodo and Me and SArah Jane I really like and find Me and Sarah Jane very moving.

I think because it was such a radical switch in sound that happened quite abruptly, but with the DUKE album people should've felt it coming....pop! And more of it.

I don't hate it at all either. I grew up on 80's New Wave because that's what my parents listened to, so many of those Genesis tunes are ingrained in my being. Today I definitely favor their earlier works, but once upon a time, I knew not that Supper's Ready.

I'm starting to wonder if this is the sort of direction Muse is taking, only with dub-step being the popular new genre they are venturing into.

Micheal, I'm gonna be completely honest with you I like ABACAB as well. Dodo/lurker is a great track. One of my favourite 80's esc tracks. Also, when people bad mouth it I never feel the compelling urge to defend it because I can understand very well why some people really dislike the album.

And that is why there is NO REPLY AT ALL.

I have yet to see anyone defend ELP's Love Beach (though I have yet to listen to it).

surprised you Chose PRESTO in the Rush category. I'd say TEST FOR ECHO was a lessor accomplishment. Anyway, the others I agree with you. Boy? Everyone hates that ABACAB. Lol
