A nice variety here including a couple of live ones.
I'm going with Guru Guru for the second poll in a row.

Neu! by far. Hallogallo gets me going. Cool Mind inducing album.

K.A. wins this one, just too good not to vote for.  A couple really good ones came close, though...namely Neu! and especially Kraan's live album, some amazing stuff on that one.

As much as I love Magma's `K.A' and Hawkwind's spacey plodding `Space Ritual', I'm going nostalgiac on this one and voting Nektar's `Journey To The Centre Of The Eye', one of the first prog albums I ever bought.

Just last weekend at the local record fair I was holding a remastered version of it on CD in my hands, considering whether or not to finally upgrade from my LP, but I left it behind...

Now I have to wait until March next year for the next fair!

Anyway, it's a lovely deep space album, kind of similar to the early psychedelic Floyd albums, and it blew my mind when I first heard it! Still love it, too!

Kraan Live, but just about all of these are great.

I've got to go with Magma on this one. Miriodor came close though.

I just discovered Nektar a few weeks ago. After I heard Journey To The Centre, I was blown away. Possibly even my favorite Nektar album (yes, I really love this band. But every album is completely different, so it's an impossible decision whether or not it's my favorite).

Fantastic experience, I'd recommend it to anyone. Though there's many great choices, Nektar's top notch. Nice choice Michael!!

Hmm...

Lots of great stuff here. Magma, Miriodor, Heldon, Guru Guru...I want to give it to GG. My first Guru album and probably my favorite. But KA is magic. Esp part III.

Wow!  I have 4 of these.  I almost feel like I belong in this thread this time.  LOL  I have to go with Nektar's Journey to The Centre Of The Eye.

Went with Neu! just over Henry Cow, Nektar, Miriodor and Magma.

Guru Guru always kind of weirded me out for some reason

LOL Yeah Guru Guru can be a little strange. It blows me away though how a couple of tracks on this particular album sound like Mahavishnu Orchestra.

I didn't expect a Magma / Nektar battle for top spot but the people have spoken. I though Henry Cow would get some love here.

I always joke that I vote for Magma in every poll, but I really haven't been lately.  Not in these polls anyway.  too much competition.  I wish I had more interesting things to say about these albums.  I really like them all.  That's about it.

Hey wait, I know:  The song cycle on "Space Ritual" has sometimes been said to outline a general storyline, despite the fact that it's a live album drawing from several sources (though primarily the Doremi album).  Just a real bare bones thing, i.e. Rocket Ship blasts off, hits some turbulence, kills some enemies, conquers all, only to be shot down in the end by the Master of the Universe.  Whatcha think?

That one is my favourite HC album, but I always vote on a whim in these things and have been feeling a lot more krauty lately

It does seem to be getting kind of krauted in here.

It is definitely my least favorite Cow album. Would need some weaker competition for meto vote for it.

And look at Nektar go.
